Bónus

The Difference is Bónus

A series of TV commercials built around a simple role reversal, where a child takes control of the household’s shopping habits, holding their parents accountable in a humorous “price check” scenario.

  • The campaign takes place inside a family home, where a “price control” unfolds in unexpected settings. In the first film, a family meeting takes place in a child’s bedroom, where the child leads the conversation and questions the parents’ shopping decisions.

Across the series, this dynamic continues, with the child acting as a voice of reason, bringing humour and clarity to everyday behaviour.

  • To highlight the importance of mindful shopping in a way that feels engaging and relatable.

By shifting the perspective and allowing the child to take charge, the campaign delivers its message in an unexpected and memorable way, reinforcing Bónus as a smart and accessible choice.

  • The campaign centres on a simple reversal of roles.

By placing a child in a position of authority, everyday shopping decisions are reframed through a more honest and direct perspective. This contrast creates humour while reinforcing the idea that small choices can have a bigger impact.

  • The campaign resonated with audiences, combining humour with a clear message and strengthening Bónus’ position as a relatable and value-driven brand.

  • I joined the project during the production phase, supporting the development of the visual direction in collaboration with the director.

On set, I worked across art direction, collaborating with the stylist, makeup artist and set designer to help ensure a cohesive and consistent visual outcome.

My role focused on contributing to the overall look and feel, supporting the team in aligning details and maintaining consistency throughout the production.
